Jasper County Conservation has a special program series designed especially for your nature-loving tots! These educational sessions for 3-5 year olds are discovery based, focused on encouraging first connections with the natural world. Each program includes a story, an activity, and group directed exploration with a naturalist.
The group will meet December 17th from 10:30-11:00am at the Newton Public Library. The program topic will be “Starry Night”. Children will learn about stars and other objects in the night sky.

Hawkeye Stages will be collecting new, unwrapped toys from now until December 16th. Toys or monetary donations can be dropped off during business hours Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm at their office: 300 E 17th St S, across from Hy-Vee in Newton.
